Committed to purchasing and operating hotels in some of the most quintessential British locations, Northern Powerhouse Developments have opened the door for a significant number of UK and international purchasers to capitalise on the hotels they now own and operate.
The group now hold and operate a portfolio of 16 hotels in North and South Wales; Devon, Cumbria and Yorkshire with plans to launch an adventure leisure resort in South Wales.
Funded by a sale and lease back structure, NPD have raised in excess of £36 million from over 300 global investors who buy rooms, multiple rooms or whole developments within a given project.
Under the current model, NPD provides investors with the opportunity to buy a room in a hotel and then rent it back for a 10-year period with a buyback option at the end of the lease.
Rooms and properties are sold through a global network of five primary sales agents who offer private and institutional buyers the opportunity to buy individual rooms, multiple rooms or whole developments.

Having worked for over 15 years in both practice and in companies across a number of business sectors, Rob Atkin brings incredible accounting experience and knowledge to the board of NPD and has helped steer the group to a financially sound platform ensuring its continued growth.

Ben Dews - Sales Director

With a background in real-estate and having previously built up a multi-million pound development company with Gavin Woodhouse, Ben’s skills and experience within the world of property and sales saw him appointed Sales Director of the company in 2017. Heading a team of six sales staff, he has successfully built up a global distribution network of purchasers and played a significant role in the growth of the company.
